Hi everyone! My name is Laura Haynie. I’m from Charleston, South Carolina and I’m a Freshman at Converse College. I am 18 years old, but I’m turning 19 very soon, on April 10th! I love the beach, the ocean, sailing, kayaking, anything outdoors that is fun and active. I am SO excited about this trip and can wait to get there! I have an older brother who is working in the Cayman Islands in real-estate, so my parents are very used to having an empty nest and are as excited as I am to go to Swazi and minister to those beautiful kids! I love kids, and I work at an Episcopal Summer camp in Chalreston where I get paid to teach kids how to sail and run around on the beach every day while telling them about how awesome Jesus is! God has blessed me with three summers there so far and I will be out there again this Summer! I have really enjoyed getting to “meet” yall through your blog posts and getting to know a little bit about you! Please let me know how I can pray for you in preparation for this amazing adventure we are taking together!
Joy and Peace,
Laura
