So guys, I need prayer and advice. I am having major trouble raising the money. But God is making it quite apparent that I’m going. I just need help! How did you guys do it??

  2. I spoke with my pastor at church and was allowed to give a short ten minute presentation and testimony at the beginning of service. I printed out cards asking for name and address and had people interested in supporting me fill out the cards and I collected them after service. Then I sent those people support letters and so far it has been pretty successful.

    Another idea if you have a Facebook is maybe posting a note talking about the mission trip, tag some people, and tell them how they can go onto the http://www.adventures.org website and support you by donating online.

  3. Hey!! As far as raising money I know exactly how you feel! I have been very blessed by members of my church in helping me raise money. My friend sent out a letters for a trip to china asking each person to donate like 5 dollars he sent out like 200 letters and for the most part people gave more money he raised a lot that way. Even if you have already done letters its a great way to raise a little more. Also ask your church if they are willing to give you any money. I got to a CMA church and they were more then happy to help with my mission trip.. Anyways I can not wait to meet and get to know you!!
