From September 2008 to May 2009 I was in Jeffrey's Bay, South Africa as an FYM with Adventures in Missions. Living my life long dream of going to Africa completely wrecked me (in a good way). I fell in love with the people of J-Bay and with the warm culture of Africa. I saw glimpses of the Kingdom come to earth and experienced the body of Christ like never before. 

I have a passion for the overlooked and the oppressed. I have a fire in my bones for the body of Christ to be active in love and to bring holy justice. During my time in Africa I worked with a group of street children and they absolutely stole my heart. They revealed to me the heart of The Father and showed me what true love looks like. I am a firm believer that there is always hope, and that Christ never overlooks or forgets anyone. My prayer and my dream is to folllow God where ever He dares me to go, no matter how dangerous, how unconventional or how unexpected it may be.

I love people. I am learning of the great value of being a listener, both of God and people. I enjoy adventure and a good challenge... I enjoy finding beauty in simple things and i love to be creative. 

Like I said, I am excited to meet each of you! Being a people person, I couldn't think of anything I would rather be doing than spending 3 months with you. If there is anything i can help with/pray for i would love to be there for you.. Love you guys. Grace&Peace
