Hey Swazi Team! My name is Pamela and I am going to be one of your three team leaders. I am extremely excited about this trip and I cant wait to get to know all of you.
As for me, I am 23 years old and live in Orange County, Ca. I have an insanely close family, a sister who is 25, and a twin sister. I graduated from Biola University with a degree in Human Biology in May 2008. I then left in July 2008 for the World Race (pamelaphilp.theworldrace.org). It was an amazing 11 months of traveling around the world, living in community, and getting to experience the different ways God works in the world. I’ve been home for barely three months, and cant believe I am leaving again, but I know it is exactly where God is calling me for right now. In the past 5 years I have been to Africa 5 times and spent time in 7 different countries. I have been to Namibia, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, and Malawi. I have participated on trips, led trips, and spent time with just me and one other friend working in Uganda. My love for Africa continues to grow with every trip, and I know this trip is only going to do the same.
