Hey ya guys 🙂

I’m Brooke! I’m 18! I’ll turn 19 JUNE 25th!!
I graduated in ’08 so I should be a freshman in college right now, but we moved to Sugar land, Texas last april and we were considered out of state so it cost more..so I decided to just work. I got a job in august at a Baskin Robbins two minutes from my house and was just gonna save money up, and two months later I got accepted to go  Swaziland, so I was like well now I know what I am saving up for!!
Born in SC and before Tx I lived in TN, I’m pretty much a southern girl.
Sooo I still work at Baskin Robbins, I love ice cream.
I like dancing, and I have no singing skills but it doesn’t stop me from jamming out in my car 🙂
I like talking walks, twilight, going to starbucks, writing in my journal, playing online and swing dancing. And my favorite verse is Proverbs 31:30.

I’m the 2nd child, I have a older sister, a little brother and a little sister. Me and my sister were homeschooled and my younger siblings are still being homeschooled. We all love making random videos or music videos together. My parents are really great and like to hang out with us, we do alot of movie watching, game playing and WII tournaments as a family. yay WII bowling!

I am so excited about this trip, I’ve never been out of the country or even on a plane before, so I’m excited about the adventure.
Back in TN I use to see alot of kids, and then when we moved I never saw any kids (besides my younger siblings). Working at Baskin Robbins though I see kids EVERYDAY. but I miss spending time with kids, so I really look forward to spending time with these children in Africa.
and I like to have close friends, so I look forward to meeting my team!
sooo all around I’M EXCITED!

  1. Hi Brooke, I’m Laura Haynie’s mom and I just wanted to introduce myself. It’s nice to get to know a little bit about her team members she will be sharing this amazing adventure with. You and Laura will have alot of joy to offer the children in Swazi! You both love dance and making music videos! I can’t wait to see the videos you come back with! Laura and her friends have made some videos that have made me laugh till I cried! I know God will use those gifts and talents to bless alot of people there. I will be praying for you as you prepare for your trip, Love, Mrs. H
