Dear Friends and Family,

We’re here! We have oficially arrived in Nsoko, Swaziland. We have had about 3 days of travel and we are excited to be able to finally settle in. We are located in a remote part of Swazliand, even as I am writing I am praying that the internet will work long enough for me to post this blog. We are surrounded by the mountains and live off of a picturesque dirt road. When we arrived early this afternoon we were greeted with many children with huge smiles, it was beautiful. We are all so excited to see what the Lord has in store for us in the coming months. Please be praying for us as we get acclimated to the culture, pray that the Lord would protect us spiritually and physically. Pray that our hearts would be to seek after the Lord and that we would fall more in love with Him every day. Know that we love you all and that we are praying for you as well. It is such a blessing knowing that you are all intercieding on our behalf. We love you all, many blessings.

With Grace & Peace,
     Sydney

  14. sydney, wow so where do I start…Well My name is hannah, god has deffinatly laid the people of africa on my heart, and i am hoping to step forward and follow his calling this summer. I was doing my Devotional this morning, before looking at your blog or anything, and felt God strongly telling me to pray for the people of Swaziland. I was wondering why God had so strongly placed it on my mind and heart. So first period went by and again, the only thing i could think about was Africa and this community. so I ran to 2nd period, computer apps, Got onto AIM webpage (Like i have been doing for the past two weeks)..and pulled up your blog entry out of random..Wow! completely God! Im praying for you as well as the people.God is deffinatly doing a great thing, and using you to shine as a brilliant light for this world and these people. I pray that everything is going well!& cant wait to keep up to date and see how you all are doing. Many blessings!
